External Vendor Risk View
External vendor risk view is the outside-in picture of a supplier: the services, exposures and leaked data an attacker can see, measured continuously rather than once a year. In DigitalXForce this is the External Risk View, which monitors exposed services, misconfigurations, vulnerability exposure, dark web and breach intelligence, lookalike domains and cyber ratings, maps fourth-party dependencies, and feeds the vendor scores in the Third-Party Risk Management module. It runs on the TRiSCM platform, and the terms used here are defined in the DigitalXForce glossary.
Continuous Control Assurance (CCA) uses evidence, monitoring and validation to determine whether controls continue to operate as expected. X-ROC triages a supplier change from External Risk View next to the internal control failures CCA has found. It ranks both by business impact. Each DigitalXForce vendor score combines the vendor’s questionnaire answers, its evidence and the outside-in view from External Risk View. For a critical supplier, DigitalXForce also reads control evidence from the supplier’s own systems through connectors. The DigitalXForce comparison with Bitsight and the comparison with SecurityScorecard explain how those inputs combine.
